Zion Lodge is the only hotel located inside Zion National Park. If this is your first trip to Zion or if you’re short on time, it’s well worth booking a few nights in this historic hotel. However, you’ll want to make your reservations months in advance because this place is bound to book up! 

If you want to be close to the park, Springdale is your best bet. Located just outside of the park’s south entrance, you’ll be a stone’s throw from some of the park’s most famous attractions. 

From mid-March to late November, you can catch the free shuttle from Springdale to various spots in Zion. Plus, if you base yourself here, you’ll be within walking distance of a range of excellent restaurants and shops.

There are all sorts of little towns and excellent hotels surrounding Zion National Park. If you’re traveling with the little ones, Saint George is less than an hour from Zion and offers family-friendly accommodation. Located 30 minutes from the park’s entrance, the town of Hurricane boasts jaw-dropping natural landscapes and is also close to Red Cliffs National Conservation Area.
