Epic Luxury Hotels in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico YOu Won’t Want to Miss!

Luxury is everywhere in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, from the hotels to the clubs to the dinner cruises that leave its marina each night. As one half of Los Cabos, it’s the side where you can spend the day in the clear blue water and then dance the night away as you wander your way through Cabo San Lucas’s lively nightlife.

Plus, there’s nothing like the view of its famous Arch at Land’s End, so named because, if you follow a straight line down, you won’t touch land again until you hit the South Pole. I’ve been lucky enough to go kayaking around this iconic landmark, and it is a truly spectacular sight.

Planning your own trip to this sunny getaway and wondering where to stay in Cabo San Lucas? I’ve compiled a list of the best luxury hotels in Cabo San Lucas for you, from hotels that feel like their own little cities to beachfront resorts you’ll never want to leave. Pick your favorite Cabo San Lucas luxury resort from this list, and you’re bound to fall in love with this colorful seaside spot!

Where to Stay in Cabo San Lucas

Before I dive into where to stay in Cabo San Lucas, let me first clarify where I’m referring to. When people often say “Cabo,” they’re actually referring to Los Cabos, as the region is made up of two cities: Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.

Cabo San Lucas is where you’ll find many of the luxury hotels in Cabo, as well as much of the nightlife and clubs. San José del Cabo is much quieter, known for its vibrant art scene. While both are home to delicious dining scenes, Cabo San Lucas is home to more upscale dining, while San José del Cabo’s bars and restaurants tend to be more casual.

If you’re going to stay in Cabo San Lucas, you should ideally stay near the water, particularly if you’re able to book a hotel near Medano Beach, which is one of the few swimmable beaches in Los Cabos. Although there are many beaches throughout the cities, most of them are too dangerous to swim in.

If you choose to book a hotel in Cabo San Lucas, the trek to San José del Cabo is only about half an hour by car and well worth it, especially if you’re able to visit during their weekly art walk on Thursday nights that starts in November and runs until the summer.
