If your itinerary focuses on Angkor Wat, you’ll want to pick a hotel that’s located close to the massive temple complex. One of our top recommendations is Charles de Gaulle road, which connects the center of Siem Reap with the Angkor Archeological Park. 

The boulevard is where you’ll find some of the most luxurious hotels in Cambodia, along with plenty of restaurants and bars. This area caters primarily to foreigners, so you’ll find essentials like money exchange shops, taxis and other transportation, and ATMs.

If it’s your first time in Cambodia, you need to try staying at the Old French Quarter at least once! This area is full of colonial-style buildings and European cafes, giving it a very different feel from the rest of Siem Reap. You can really feel Siem Reap’s French influence here, and you’ll never run out of things to do. Try going for a stroll down the riverside promenade or explore the many art galleries in the area.

The huge pool is one of our favorite things about this place. It’s bordered by swaying palm trees, sun loungers, and cabanas, making it the perfect place to relax and soak up the rays. You can also order cocktails and snacks from the pool bar, which is a nice touch. If you want to stay in shape, there’s a well-equipped gym, too.

The rooms here are simple and stylish, with dark woods, Khmer art on the walls, and comfortable beds. Every morning, you’ll be greeted by a traditional American breakfast with quite a few different options. 

If you’re hankering for Cambodian, Asian, and European dishes, simply walk to the nearby Maitri Restaurant. There’s also a 24/7 business center onsite so you can stay connected.
