Where to Stay in Seminyak
Seminyak is located between Legian to the south and Canggu to the north. Although it’s pretty small, it contains a number of different neighborhoods, giving you plenty of places to stay in Seminyak.
If this is your first visit, we suggest staying in Seminyak Beach. The center of the town, Seminyak Beach is known for its superb coastline, fantastic restaurants, and trendy bars. It’s also where you’ll find some of the coolest Seminyak hotels.
If you’re on a budget, consider staging in Kerobokan to the north. This neighborhood also has a number of gorgeous beaches, as well as a stunning temple. If you’re looking for a place to pick up unique souvenirs, you’ll love the art gallery and antiques store.
For more shopping opportunities, stay in Jalan Kayu Aya (aka Eat Street). This main street is lined with boutiques selling all kinds of goodies. Although it’s not close to the beach, it’s an excellent place to go shopping. As the name implies, you’ll also find plenty of stellar restaurants in this area.
Petitenget is one of our favorite overall neighborhoods. It’s in the north of Seminyak and features a great choice of boutiques, amazing restaurants, and cool bars. There are plenty of fantastic beaches to choose from, as well as some of the most stunning Seminyak boutique hotels!

Despite its unusual name, Potato Head Studios is one of the coolest hotels in Seminyak. So close to the ocean you can almost reach out and touch it, the spectacular hotel has everything you need to get away from the daily grind and come back a whole new you!
As well as a modern gym and spa, the hotel also boasts the Sanctuary, where you can try all kinds of innovative therapies, such as audio-visual therapy, energy medicine, and awakenings. Open-air yoga classes under the rising sun or moon are also available. With kids’ workout classes, too, the whole family can get involved.
Re-energize after a tough workout with a tropical smoothie or juice at Jamu Bar. If you need something a bit more substantial, you’ll find everything from drool-worthy tribal menus at Kaum to BBQ feasts at Sunset Park and fresh fish at Ijen.
Add into the mix incredible art installations, workshops, and galleries, plus a music studio, concert amphitheater, and buzzing DJ sets, and you could easily spend your entire vacation at Potato Head Studios without ever leaving the grounds.

Our favorite part of Aloft Bali Seminyak is the rooftop. This is where you’ll find the dazzling infinity pool where you can swim bathed in the golden light of the sunset. The rooftop is also home to KAHUNA, the industrially-inspired restaurant where you can dig into a delicious selection of local and international dishes with superb views of Batu Belig Beach.
3. Double-Six
Lining the Double Six Beach, Double-Six is one of the most unique hotels in Seminyak. This incredible hotel boasts all kinds of magical extras you’d never expect to find in such a place.
Head to the rooftop, and you’ll discover a sunset bar with individual pods that float on water! From up here, you’ve got an amazing view of the beach that you can enjoy while sipping creative cocktails. The hotel also boasts the Lagoon Bar with a gelato cart and the martini-serving Sling Bar at the top of a spiral staircase.
Start your day off with a made-to-order breakfast, and then relax by lounging around the gigantic lagoon-style pool. For something even more relaxing, make an appointment at the Acqua Perla Spa. Here you’ll find a fitness center, hammam, recovery lounge, resonance chamber, massage rooms, relaxation dome, and yoga zone.
As the evening approaches, head over to the Plantation Grill. The 1920s-style restaurant boasts a vaulted ceiling and huge windows overlooking the sea. If you’re not in the mood for dry-aged steak or sustainable seafood, head to Seminyak Italian Food instead and treat your taste buds to Mediterranean fare.

For a peaceful, intimate atmosphere, stay at Petitenget 501. This small, luxury resort is made up of just seven rooms, making it one of the most exclusive and sought-after properties in Seminyak.
The Studio Loft is the smallest room here. While it’s suitable for a short break, we recommend upgrading to one of the superior rooms if you’re planning on spending more than a couple of days here.
The One Bedroom Apartment is perfect for a couple. Set over two floors, the room is decorated with bold colors and features a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, stove, and kettle for making basic meals. If you’re traveling with friends, there are rooms large enough for five guests.

If you’re traveling as a couple or a small family, the One-Bedroom Suite is perfect. It boasts a bathroom with a washing machine and dryer, a full kitchen, a spacious lounge, and a private terrace so you can relax outside.
If you’re traveling with friends, consider the Two-Bedroom Pool Villa. This villa is suitable for up to six adults and comes with its own private swimming pool.
There’s a fitness center so you can keep up with your workout routine, a chill-out lounge where you’ll find free tea and coffee, plus an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by pool chairs. Although there are no on-site dining options, there are plenty of excellent choices on your doorstep.

If you’re visiting with friends, the three-bedroom apartment is perfect for you. This huge apartment boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge. It has a relaxing, neutral color palette with some cool Balinese touches and is just a short walk away from the hotel’s facilities.
As well as the gorgeous accommodation, the hotel also features a 24-hour mini gym, a beautiful swimming pool lined by oversized loungers and comfy bean bag chairs, and a rooftop garden where you can sip cocktails in fun swing chairs.
